The following patches were installed on the TFTMVMLDSKCORE (LANDesk Production Core) which fix several post-SP3 bugs and improve support for the LANDesk Cloud Services Appliance (LANDesk Gateway).

NOTE: It is highly recommended that a full LANDesk agent be pushed out your clients in order to take advantage of bug fixes. This is even more important if you haven’t yet updated your clients to SP3.    Additionally, you should update your LANDesk Management Console with the patches mentioned above.

Methods for agent deployment

•Manual: Map a drive to the \\TFTMVMLDSKCORE\ldlogon (file:///\\TFTMVMLDSKCORE\ldlogon) Folder and run "Wscfg32.exe -f". This is used for single client installs and testing.

•Push: Schedule a push of the full agent

•Self-Contained EXE: Creates an EXE that can be installed.

•Advance Agent: This is a two stage process. The advance agent consists of a small MSI and a self-contained EXE. The MSI is deployed to the client and then the MSI downloads and installs the EXE. This allows for bandwidth friendly downloads

28684 - Agent Deployment - Agent Install on Windows* 7 64bit does not always keep mirror driver installed.

29952 - Alerting - LDdevmon.exe appears to hang in memory and not finish.

34347 - Content Replication - - Vulscan does not create manifest file for HTTP shares correctly.

34449 - Content Replication - LDDwnld hangs when downloading http files/info over slow high loss links.

16049 - Licensing - CR00055794: Auto activation does not always work.

27685 - Linux - Deploying a 9.0 SP3 Linux agent deletes custom iptable rules.

29385 - Linux - Vulscans from RH6 64-bit clients are not processed on core.

29934 - Linux - HPUX MAP agent fails inventory when a filename contains Portuguese characters.

31806 - Linux - 64bit Linux agent inventory scanner fails with invalid characters.

28468 - Management Gateway - BrokerService may stop giving certificates after upgrading to SP3, though connections remain open.

28667 - Software Distribution - Devices added through ldap queries in a policy SWD task may be removed after "LANDesk Scheduler Service" is restarted or SchedQry.exe /allqueries executed.

31626 - Agent Deployment - Error during SP3 client install ITA.

34696 - Install - Signed drivers ASICIO.sys & ASICIO64.sys to prevent a potential unsigned driver error during agent install.

29241 - Provisioning - HII Drivers are copied but not injected in Windows XP on specific devices, changing the / to a \ in drivers.db fixes the issue.

28304 - Patch Manager - When patching through Gateway, machine sees itself as a peer.

21644 - Reporting - Only one user at a time can run a report on Terminal Servers and Citrix Servers. If RunDDRViewer.exe is running, no other users can run a report.

29025 - Software Distribution - sdistvapp.exe is unable to copy virtualized app with some special characters in its name.

31854 - Antivirus / Inventory - LDAVHLPR - Add Support for OfficeScan 10.6 in Inventory.

25050 - Linux - Large amounts of XML files no longer accumulate in the "/USR/LANDesk/ldms" folder.

25056 - Linux - Running a vulscan using a custom script no longer causes vsScript-xxxxxx.xml files to accumulate in /tmp.

26069 - Linux - Permissions assigned to vsScript files in /tmp are now correct.

27152/28647 - Linux - The vulscan.log file now truncates on new scans.

27907 - Linux - Add support for SLES 11 x64.

28308 - Management Gateway - Management Gateway agents are ignoring broker.conf.xml settings when resolving DNS entries and connecting.

30320 - Patch Manager - CVE-2012-1196: Vulnerability in Vulcore.asmx allows deletion of arbitrary files via directory traversal.

28852 - Patch Manager - Memory Leak in the console when you open any scheduled task graph.

30358 - Patch Manager - LDAppvulnerability IIS pool locks up with AV definition update requests from clients.

25368 - Power Management - Monitor on / off usage information is not gathered correctly in LANDesk Power management.

27404 - Reporting - Landscape reports when scheduled as PDF are generated in Portrait format.

28930 - Software Distribution - Download with some non ENU characters in path name doesn't get hash.

29244 - Macintosh - Ldiscan conflicts with the mdworker process on mac and will cause one or both to crash.

30189 - Macintosh - Policies configured as "Required Once" fail to deploy on Mac devices.

30652 - Remote Control - LD9.0-SP3: ISSUSER error on some machines with XP SP3 after agent deployment.

30658 - Remote Control - LD9.0-SP3: On some machines with XP SP3 the mirror driver is causing a black screen on reboot after agent deployment.
