Overview

3 important differences to note:

  1. Must use the FQDN for the package location: http://tftmvmldskcore.tufts.ad.tufts.edu/packages/.../http://ssvmldeskcore.tufts.ad.tufts.edu/packages/
  2. The specified package must be a zip'd or dmg'd .app, .pkg, or .mpgkg file. If the application was distrubuted as a .pkg, you must zip it for distribution.  
  3. Shell scripts can also be deployed as a package (similar to how you can deploy batch scripts in Windows)
