Basic Information:

The Mark Lab is located in the basement of the Tisch Library. This computer lab is not open to the general public, but is booked by specific classes and librarians. If the Instructional Lab (Eaton 208) is booked, the Mark Computer Lab may be reserved on a space available basis.

Shared Drives: Lab temp drive, Mounted P: drives, Training Temp

Additional Levels of Support: MAT exam, STATA classes, Impact Testing

Custom rEFIt dual boot menu. Customized image at startup also with rEFit script. http://refit.sourceforge.net/*                                       

*Includes custom icons and a default boot into Mac side if the user doesn’t select within 1 minute.

Shared Start Menu and GPO settings for all Mark lab PC computers.

Shared dock and settings with Workgroup manager on the Mac side.

All Windows 7 side machines are on the domain for Tufts UTLN.

They have proctors who run this exam from Mark lab computers. Each computer has a specific code to run the software.

Additional Information:

Macs setup with Boot Camp, providing access to both Apple and Windows OS

Uses rFEIt to display OS selection menu at startup – after 1 minute defaults to MAC partition
