Adding Dell Warranty information to Landesk

Overview
In order to make it easier to track computer lifecycles and support information, there is a package in Landesk that will gather the service tag from any Dell computers, then grab the warranty information from the Dell website and write those values into the registry. The package uses a modified version of the vbs script from the Landesk Community thread linked in the resources section. For non-Dell computers, the script will make no changes to the registry.
The Landesk package is called "OIT - Add Dell Warranty Info to the registry".
The following values are added to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Dell\Warranty\
- System Ship Date
- Service Level Description
- End Date
While there are other values added, since they do not update automatically (and would require rerunning the package), they are generally inaccurate.
