Booklet Printing using InDesign

Please note that these instructions are written for the Konica Minolta Bizhub c364 series.  You must have the appropriate print driver installed in order to print the booklet correctly.

Mac OS X

Install the c364 Print Driver

There are print drivers available for download on the ITKB.  You can find the software and installation instructions at https://wikis.uit.tufts.edu/confluence/display/exchange2010/Konica+Minolta+Copiers.  Be sure to choose the correct driver for your operating system as there are multiple versions available to download.

Printing the Booklet

1. Open the InDesign document.
2. From the File menu, click Print Booklet…
3. In the Print Booklet window, click the Print Settings… button at the bottom.

1. Confirm that the selected printer is the Konica Minolta Bizhub c364 series.
2. Click Setup in the navigation pane to display its palette.
   1. Set the paper size at 11x17
   2. The orientation should be set for the 2^nd option.

1. Click the Printer… button at the bottom of the Print window.  This will bring up the Printer dialog box for the Konica Minolta printer.
   1. Click OK to bypass the warning.
2. Using the drop down menu, change the setting from Layout to Layout / Finish.
3. Click the Finish button to display its print settings.

1. Uncheck the box next to Staple.

10. On the Fold & Staple drop down menu, select Center Staple and Fold.

11. Click Print at the bottom of the window.

12. Click OK to close the Print window inside InDesign.

13. Click Print to print the document.

Printing the booklet

1. Open the InDesign document.
2. From the File menu, click Print Booklet…
3. In the Print Booklet window, click the Print Settings… button at the bottom.

2. Click Setup in the navigation pane to display its palette.

1. Click the Setup… button at the bottom of the Print window.  This will bring up the Printer dialog box for the Konica Minolta printer.
   1. Click OK to bypass the warning.
   2. With the Konica Minoltz Bizhub c364 series printer highlighted, click Preferences to open the printer preferences.
2. Navigate to the tab labeled Layout.
3. In the Print Type drop down menu, confirm that 2-Sided is selected.

1. Click the tab labeled Finish to display the printer’s finishing settings.

10. Uncheck the box next to Staple, if necessary.

11.  Check the box labeled Center Staple and Fold.

12. Click OK at the bottom of the window.

13. Click Print to close the Printer dialog window.

14. Click OK to close the Print window inside InDesign.

15. Click Print to print the document.
