How to activate volume license operating systems with the Tufts Microsoft Key Management Server
The University IT Support Center has set up a Microsoft Key Management Server that is capable of activating Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 2008 standard server, Windows 2008 R2 standard server and Office 2010 applications.

Windows Vista, 7, 2008 standard server, 2008 R2 standard server:
Using a command prompt with elevated privileges:
First run:
cscript \windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -skms uitsckms.uit.tufts.edu

Then run:
cscript \windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -ato
