The LANDesk 9.5 Console cannot be installed on a computer that already has a LANDesk 9.0 console, you will need to remove LANDesk 9.0 Console first if you currently have it installed. |
- Navigate to the following share: \\titan\ldeskpackages$\LANDesk95Console and launch Setup.exe start LANDesk console installation. (Requires administrator privileges).
- The LANDesk setup wizard will be launched, follow the prompts in LANDesk Software setup and agree to License agreement then click “Continue” again.
- Select “Remote Console” for installation and click “Continue.”
- Verify Prerequisite check passed and click “Continue.”
- Select the desired installation path (or leave default) and click "Continue" and finally click "Install."
- Once the installation has completed you will be prompted to Reboot.
- Once Reboot is completed, please install [LD95-SP2-Console]

IMPORTANT: Before you can use the LANDesk Management Console you must upgrade your remote console to Service Pack 1 (SP1). The remote console must be running at the same patch level as the core server (SSVMLDESKCORE) otherwise you will experience compatibility issues and crashing of your remote console. |
- Launch the LANDesk Management Console and verify that Service Pack 2 is installed
Start > Program Files/All Programs > LANDesk > LANDesk Management Console - Enter “tufts\UTLN” as your username and your Active Directory password.
- Enter "SSVMLDESKCORE" for Core server name.
