TABVMTREND3 - Test TrendMicro OfficeScan 10.6 Server/Secondary Smart Protection Server

TABVMTREND3 is temporary TrendMicro Smart Protection Server that will server File Reptuation and Web Reputation Services for all Tufts University OfficeScan Clients that have Smart Scanning enabled

This server will eventually become the OfficeScan 10.6 Test Server when TABVMTREND2 is operational.  We are currrently waiting for the ESS group to provision a new VM for TABVMTREND2

  • It will also serve as backup to the primary Trend Micro Smart Protection Server in the event clients are not able to contact or access TABVMTREND2
  • Clients that are off-campus and not able to contact any Tufts OfficeScan server will receive definitions, file and web reputation services directly from Trend Micro’s cloud.

    • NOTE: Access to this console is limited to an admin account only.  This server is stand-alone VM running a custom Linux distribution that services OfficeScan clients Web and File Reputation services and virus definitions
