Logging In

The first time you use a particular browser to log in to Bluecat, you'll be prompted to set an exception for the certificate.

Firefox

1.) Open Firefox and enter the Bluecat address (

). A pop-up window will warn you that the connection is untrusted.

2.) Click I Understand the Risks.

3.)*Select *Add Exception. The Add Security Exception window will open.

4.) After a few seconds, the bottom of the window will display an option to add and permanently store this exception. Make sure that the Permanently store this exception box is checked and click Confirm Security Exception.

5.) The Proteus login page will open.

IE

1.) Open IE and enter the Bluecat address (

). A pop-up window will warn you that there is a problem with the websites certificate.

Click Continue to this website (not recommended).

2.) The Proteus login page will open.

3.) Before you login, select Tools > Internet Options from the menu bar. The Internet Options window will open.
