Overview

USMT (User State Migration Tool) is a utility from Microsoft used to automate the process of migrating user profiles and settings between computers. USMT captures user accounts, user files, operating system settings, and application settings, and then restores them to a new Windows installation.

USMT consists of 2 command line executables, scanstate and loadstate
