Workaround

Drive Encryption GO (DEGO) 7.1 Compliance Query is showing failures for all systems, even though individual system properties show all tests as Successful. Systems might fail to activate if the DE 7.1 Policy is set to activate only if the DEGO Health Check passes.

EEGO checks are no longer required before the computer is encrypted. This setting will be re-enabled once 7.1.1 is available

DE 7.1 and EEPC  7.0.x are not supported on Microsoft's Surface Pro or Surface Pro 2 tablet devices. While you might be able to install the DE/EEPC application on Microsoft's Surface hardware, McAfee cannot provide Technical Support if you encounter issues.
Microsoft's support stance on Surface/Surface Pro hardware is that no third-party Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) applications are supported.

Disable Secure Boot in the UEFI settings (http://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-us/support/warranty-service-and-recovery/how-to-use-the-bios-uefi)

HTTP Status 500 seen with initial log on attempt to ePO 5.1 console using user auto-creation (

Close your browser and attempt to log in again. This issue will be fixed in ePO 5.1.1
