  1. Open Print Management (MMC Snap-In)
  2. Right-click Printers > Add Printer
  3. Select "Add a TCP/IP or Web Services Printer by IP address or hostname
  4. Select Type of Device: TCP/IP Device and Enter Host name or IP address: (E.G. DepartmentPrinter100.uit.tufts.edu)
  5. Uncheck "Auto detect the printer driver to use" and click Next.
  6. Device Type: Standard: Generic Network Card and click Next.
  7. Select correct model print driver from "Use an existing print driver or on the computer" (
     Note: Konica Minolta and most HP drivers should already be installed. If you can't find a specify HP model, use HP Universal Print Driver)
     
  8. If printer driver is not installed then select "Install new driver."
  9. Select a Printer Name (DepartmentPrinterModel or LocationPrinterModel naming convention. (E.G., PublicationsHP4000dn BallouHall1stFlrBizhub451 TAB211Dell3110cn )
  10. Click "Share this Printer", enter same Share Name as Printer Name, enter Location and Comments and select Next.
  11. Confirm all of the information is correct and select Next again.
  12. The Printer should now to be installed 
    1. Select "Print test page."
    2. Click Finish.
