Braker Lab

General Info:

Mounted drives on workgroup manager (foundations of design and EXP0101)

The ITS Instructional Lab @ Braker Hall is a Macintosh lab 10.8 available for teaching. NOTE - There is no pay for print in the Braker lab at this time

• Color laser printer (HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni) owned by TTS, toner provided by Museum School, as it has restricted access for Graphic Design classes only. Contact Debra Samdperil at the Museum School before start of semester to order. Access to printer controlled by print services on Eaton Lab server. Class list provided by Graphic Design instructors, Marcy Pape and Joanne Breiner. Add students to "FAM0020_21" active directory security group to grant access to printer.
• "Making Movies" students are provided with 24/7 card swipe access to labs outside of scheduled class times, security access managed by Howard Woolf.

Class share "EXP101" (hosted on "ASITSSLABSDUMBO"), provided to "Making Movies" students, access list provided by Howard Woolf and updated each semester, security group "AS_ITS_exp0101".

Dependencies:

Computers are all joined to Tufts domain. Therefore, all users must login to computers using Tufts Accounts. Braker lab guest account is written on instructor station.

How To:

Basic Information:

The Mugar Lab is located in Mugar 123, on the first level of Mugar Hall behind the Fares Center.  Mugar Hall is located on the West end of the Medford/Somerville campus.

Requirements:

The Mugar Computer Lab is for use by the Fletcher community. It is located on the first level of Mugar Hall and is for the use of Fletcher students ONLY. The only exception to this is when all other labs are closed. During those times, all Tufts students may use this lab.

How To:

All computers in the computer lab are joined to the Tufts Domain. To access the computers, login with Tufts username and password. Alternatively, computer lab staff can log users in with a generic account, although using Tufts credentials is highly recommended.

To reserve the lab, please contact James Johnson or Cyndi Rubino (Or appropriate Fletcher representative).

Pay for Print:

• Black and white prints are 10 cents per page, 15 cents for two-sided printing.
• Color prints are 30 cents per page, 45 cents for two-sided printing.
