Overview
The standard TTS image is based on the Windows 7 Enterprise x64 KMS iso available at \\titan\software$\FSP\MCA\Windows 7\Windows 7 Enterprise with SP1 - Tufts KMS\ . The goal of the changes are to keep the original Windows 7 look and feel, but make Windows 7 more conducive to the business environment.
Changes
- Start menu changes (Right click on Start Menu Globe -> Properties)
---log off instead of shut down (Start Menu -> Power button set to "Log off")
--remove pictures and music, add recent items and downloads (Start Menu ->Customize) .Check already imaged computer for all settings if needed.
-uncheck hide extensions for known file types (Tools ->Folder Options ->View)
-show all notification tray icons (Task Bar -> Customize -> Check "Always Show all icons and notifications on the taskbar")
show computer icon on the desktop (Right click desktop - >Personalization>Change Desktop Items)
-give Everyone full control over C:\Users\Public\Public Desktop
-disabled action center warning about windows backup (Action Center -> Change Action Center Settings)
Run windows updates, install applicable updates
