- High Performance Computing
Researchers have access to an IBM 170+ node cluster with over 2000 64-bit cores (RHEL 6.2) with 16-128 GB RAM per node, and 10GigE interconnect. This is a central service offered at no cost to clients. Cluster accounts can be requested at http://research.uit.tufts.edu. More information is available at http://go.tufts.edu/cluster
- Research Storage
Researchers who need backed-up, network accessed storage for research data can request storage shares, 50 GB to 1 TB (or more). These shares are not associated with P: and Q: drives. Shares can be used for workstation access or cluster mounted, not both. Research storage can be requested at http://researchstorage.uit.tufts.edu. Access to research storage can be granted to outside collaborators can be granted.
