Dynes at Tufts
What is Dynes?
Dynes is a file transfer protocol unlike all the others such as ftp, scp, rsync,etc... The goal is to provide high speed point to point data transfers using a dedicated network comprised of servers and optical networking links/paths beyond what is normally used for Internet and commercial networking traffic. Data transfers are scheduled in order to benefit from dedicated point to point transfers.
