System Maintenance Times

The Nessus scanner system and its underlying operating system will observe the standard maintenance windows from 12:01 AM to 2:00 AM on Friday morning and from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Sunday morning. No advance warning will be given for maintenance performed inside the maintenance windows.

Impact

Users should not expect to be able to access the Nessus service or any saved reports during this time period (saved reports may be inaccessible; they won't be deleted). Any scans still running at the start of the maintenance window may be interrupted and/or canceled if maintenance is performed. Please ensure your scans complete before the start of the next maintenance window.

Maintenance Outside the Scheduled Maintenance Windows

If maintenance work must be performed outside the scheduled maintenance windows, UIT will provide available details and as much advance notice to Nessus users as possible.
