Uninstalling the McAfee Agent

Run the agent installation program, FrmInst.exe, from the command line with the /REMOVE=AGENT option. The default location of this file is: C:\Program Files\McAfee\Common Framework .

C:\Program Files\McAfee\Common Framework\frmInst.exe /REMOVE=AGENT

Alternatively, you have the agent uninstall itself by deleting the computer from the System Tree

1. Log into the ePO console
2. Click Menu|Systems|System Tree, then select the group with the systems you want to delete.
3. Select the systems from the list, then click Actions|Directory Management|Delete.
4. Select Remove agent on next agent‑to‑server communication , then click OK.
