Thunderbird to Thunderbird
A user who is going to stay with Thunderbird as their mail client needs a NEW account connection provisioned for the Exchange IMAP connection. DO NOT repoint the Trumpeter IMAP connection to an Exchange IMAP connection, you risk duplication and folder subscription issues from the re-indexing that will occur.

Expand for Procedure
- Users in this migration group should be added to the Profile Generation Script and Outlook Customization and Addressbook Magic scripting group.
- Once Outlook is opened, a local cache of the serverside mailbox will be created for the *.OST
- AddressbookMagic migration will continue to work in the background.
- IF the scripting FAILED you can head to %appdata%\ and remove the script flag files in order to re-login and fix the scripting issues.
- If the profile generation continues to fail, you can manually create the profile in outlook and then just run the addressbook magic scripts by retaining only the outlookprf scripting profile.
- Some things to fix once the profile is setup:
- Signature
- Email Delegations
- Smartphone reconfiguration
- Need to map any GROUP accounts from Thunderbird to Outlook?
- Check LDAP lookup is functioning as expected
