Explanation of Settings
- Name: Enter name that you would like the user to see in Address Book. (Example: SCAN TO Q DRIVE)
- Make sure "Main" is checked so that this Scan Folder will appear in Favorites.
- Host Address: 130.64.1.41 is the IP address for Titan.
- You can also use the fully qualified domain here (titan.ad.tufts.edu) or simply TITAN if WINS is configured correctly.
- File Path: This is the name of the network share (I.E. sharename$ or sharename$\ScanFolder)
- Username: Scanner account created in Active Directory that has read-write permissions to network share
- You do not need "tufts\" in front of the username.
- Note: It order you use DNS or WINS names you must have DNS and WINS properly configured. To insure this is working correctly create a DHCP reservation in BlueCat. Do not configure the copier with a Manual IP otherwise there will be issues if the Tufts DNS or WINS servers changes.
