Linking Schools to Organization Records

When students type in the name of their institution instead of choosing it from the dropdown list, there is no way of matching this record back to the tally of all applications from this school.

To fix missing school codes, start with Database>Consolidate records, specifically the unlinked schools section:

Each section describes the matching criteria.

“Name” is an identical name:

“Partial Key” matches are actually pointers to records that should be consolidated; instead of merging these school records, first fix the fact there are two entries in the table. (The record that no longer has a match in the table will end up back in the “name” pile to be linked.)

“Partial Name + Location” will also bring up things that are definitely NOT matches, too…
