In previous years, ~400 interviews

each received a letter with information about their date and time slot:

Students who needed to change that time contacted the Program Assistant via e-mail and she manually made the change.

 

2024 cycle

~500 interviews

20 re-interviews, kids of faculty, other special cases were scheduled by hand in advance. The other students received a letter with instructions for scheduling their own interview:

The scheduling link brings them to this form, where all of the interview options are rolled up by week:

  • dramatic reduction in no-shows, since this required students to take action to confirm their interest

  • decrease in low-value work

    • form communications are automated, and personalized

    • significant decrease in rescheduling communications

 

Another fun innovation:

Organization dashboards (this one is for GSBS) that provide quick overviews of the schools students are coming from, including related events, contacts, and total alumni count.

And the annual breakdown by school:
