In previous years, ~400 interviews
each received a letter with information about their date and time slot:
Students who needed to change that time contacted the Program Assistant via e-mail and she manually made the change.
2024 cycle
~500 interviews
20 re-interviews, kids of faculty, other special cases were scheduled by hand in advance. The other students received a letter with instructions for scheduling their own interview:
The scheduling link brings them to this form, where all of the interview options are rolled up by week:
dramatic reduction in no-shows, since this required students to take action to confirm their interest
decrease in low-value work
form communications are automated, and personalized
significant decrease in rescheduling communications
Another fun innovation:
Organization dashboards (this one is for GSBS) that provide quick overviews of the schools students are coming from, including related events, contacts, and total alumni count.
