Logging In

The first time you use a particular browser to log in to Bluecat, you'll be prompted by a warning about the Proteus server's certificate.

Firefox

1.) Open Firefox and enter the Bluecat address (). A pop-up window will warn you that the connection is untrusted.

2.) Click I Understand the Risks.

3.) Select Add Exception. The Add Security Exception window will open.

4.) After a few seconds, the bottom of the window will display an option to add and permanently store this exception. Make sure that the Permanently store this exception box is checked and click Confirm Security Exception.

5.) The Proteus login page will open.

Log in with your UTLN.


IE

1.) Open IE and enter the Bluecat address (). A pop-up window will warn you that there is a problem with the websites certificate.

Click Continue to this website (not recommended).

2.) The Proteus login page will open.
