Overview
The UIT print server is only used for UIT supported printers and UIT supported computers. Printers that are not supported by UIT will not be added to the UIT print server.
The server itself is hosted by ESS (UIT) but the service is managed by UITSC.

tabvmuitprnt.tufts.ad.tufts.edu
Old name (do not use):
tftmvmtccs1.tufts.ad.tufts.edu
Maintenance Window
Since UIT host the server, their maintenance windows are detailed here
Any service changes by UITSC will be made within the same windows detailed above.
Adding a network printer to the UIT print server.
Email uitsc@tufts.edu or create a ticket in ITSM and assign it to the UIT Technology Services queue.
Include the DNS name, model number, and room and building location of the printer. Please make sure the printer is powered on and connected to the network before requesting it be added.
Known Issues
Jobs with file names longer than 255 characters hang and do not print.
