Overview

If an ActiveSync device (i.e. a mobile device set to sync with Exchange via ActiveSync) is lost or stolen and can't be recovered, we recommend using the "Wipe Device" option from OWA.

NOTE:

This will permanently delete all data (not just email) from the device.

Procedure

For All Devices: If you use Tufts Outlook email on your phone, you can remotely wipe your data using ActiveSync. On a computer, log into Tufts Outlook and click the "Options- All Options" tab in the upper right hand corner. Click phone, then choose your phone number. From there, you can choose to remotely wipe your device.
