Many commercial software packages are hosted on our research high performance computing cluster: Abaqus, Ansys, Comsol, Fluent, IDL, Maple, Matlab, Mathematica, and Stata. For desktop applications, network concurrent licensing is offered on a per product basis. These products are offered at no cost to clients. To utilize software on the HPC cluster, a cluster account is needed.

Many current bioinformatics programs and suites, and genomic databases are located on the high performance computing research cluster. Additionally a Bioinformatics Server ( http://emboss.uit.tufts.edu ) offers access to EMBOSS/wEmboss, a sequence analysis package ( see About EMBOSS ).
