2.) Download a copy of web directory in case the client wants an archive. Do this before you make any changes so that you can replace anything that goes south during the process.
3.) If the owner wants the old site to redirect visitors to the new site, /wiki/spaces/exchange2010/pages/85309889 and delete everything except index.html from the old emerald directory.
You may not have rights to the directory. You can see who the owner/group owner is in FileZilla by opening up the directory and scrolling to the far right. Often, the person left Tufts years ago. If this is the case, you can download a copy of the directory, but will need Client Support Services to upload your edited copy of index.html (see /wiki/spaces/exchange2010/pages/85309889) and to delete all of the folders and html pages (not index.html).
