These three students, conveniently enough, have 2/3/4 schools and 2/0/1 certifications.

The screen shot for licenses is unwieldy, but there are two iterations of the SuppInfo.lice.lice fields.

Now. If My hypothesis is correct, if I remove Abigail (2523874988, 4 schools, 2 certs) by changing the mapping date, there will only be 3 schools, and 1 certification available to map.

And, for good measure, only one certification as well.

When I change the date to only have the single file that has 3 schools but no certifications, there are three schools, but the SuppInfo.lice.lice0 fields are still present. This makes sense, in that there are always GRE0, IELTS0, TOEF0 fields, even though those fields are typically absent.

When a file that contains no column headers for acadHist.collAtte.collAtte fields or persInfo.famiInfo.famiMemb is uploaded and is the only file that is available, these field do not appear at all:

Certification and Licensure is brand new, so I made up some data that I uploaded as part of a test file, but I missed the “type” field:

When this file is not included (via remap date), type (as brought in via the API) is present:

  • If the remap date is after the most recent file, no fields will show as available for mapping.

...

  • One set of headers for replicate fields will always be sent in the CAS/Liaison API files, even if there is no data in those fields. [Typically these are the xxx.xxxx.xx0 field names].

  • The source format is only looking at the header rows in the most recent 15 files since the last remap date

  • Field mappings are persistent, so dummy files that contain all of the headers for relevant fields can be deleted once they are mapped
