Secure Printing allows you to print a document to the copier, but not have it actually be printed until you “release” it at the copier.  This can be useful when printing documents with confidential or sensitive information that you do not want left sitting at the copier or if the copier is not in close proximity to your office or workspace.

From your computer

  1. Select Print from the File menu
  2. Select the copier you wish to print to and click the Properties button (E.G. \ \tftmfin1\ MFINTAB310C (file:///\\tftmfin1\MFINTAB310C)PRINTSRV\Copier101

Notes: The username and password can be anything as long as it is unique. You will need to remember both of these in order to release your secure print job from the copier.  The secure printer job will be held in the copier for 12 hours, after such time the job will automatically be deleted.
  5. Return to Print window and click OK to send your print job to the copier
