To access the Codian, complete the following steps:

1. Browse to http://10.250.150.207/login.htmluit-mcu-8510.uit.tufts.edu
2. Enter with your login credentials. Note: Mark Thibodeau (TTS) provisions access accounts.
3. Navigator – Infrastructure – MCU8510 –
4. Click the Globe icon to Login --Accounts configured through Mark TPlease email support-systems@tufts.edu to have an account created.

Accessing a Bridge (Conference)

1. From the Main Screen, click Conferences.
2. Locate the "Mark T. Test" conferenceyour desired conference in the list. You may need to page over (page 1, page 2, etc.) to locate it.

Dialing Out from the Bridge

1. From the Main Screen - Conferences, locate your desired conference.
2. To dial out, click Add Participant.
3. Image Added
4. Complete the following fields:
   1. Image Added
   2. Address - add address of desired room (typically room@tufts.edu) or call Jabber account using a Tufts email address.
5. Click Call Endpoint.
6. When finished testing, click Disconnect (hang-up icon).

Creating a New Conference

To create a new conference, complete the following steps:

1. From the Main Menu, click Conferences.
2. Scroll down, and from the middle of the page, click Add New Conference.
3. Complete the following fields:
   1. Name - enter a name for the conference. Choose a name that is meaningful and easy to remember (e.g. SAT Meeting).
   2. Numeric ID Registration - select both H.323 and SIP Registrar.
   3. Visibility - select Public or Private.
      1. Note: Public conferences are viewable from the MCU main page when accessed from a conference room. If you do not want your conference to be displayed in the general MCU listing, select private.
   4. Select additional options as desired.
4. Scroll down. Click Add Conference in the bottom left corner.
