Several users have reported an issue accessing public folders in Outlook Web App.

Users should have permissions to these folders, and they can navigate through the folders using the drop-down menus, but can not actually click to open folders. The following error message appears:

!publicfoldererror.png!

Items within folders are accessible in many cases, but not in all. Most recently, items within ITS public folders have not been accessible.

This does not appear to be an issue when using the Outlook desktop client. However, auto-detection of public folder trees is still an issue in Entourage Web Services, which means that Mac users are not able to fully access public folders online or in thick clients.

*Alternatively* if users have access to Outlook, they can view their public folders normally.
