In late July or early August, all non-mobile videoconferencing endpoints will be moved to the internal Tufts network (also known as the 10 space). Instead of getting a 130.64.. IP address, any videoconferencing endpoint that does not change locations will instead get a 10...* address. This means that they will not be directly accessible from off campus.

Due to networking limitations, mobile endpoints cannot be moved to the internal network meaning they will continue to use publicly accessible IP addresses and are vulnerable to spamming.

Impact

The only noticeable impact that moving the endpoints to the internal network will have is that they will not be accessible from off campus directly via IP address. You will still be able to conference with these endpoints from off campus without the VPN, but you will need to use the Codian Bridge to connect to them.
