Daily DNS updates (all 7 days): 8:00AM, 10:00 PM, 1100AM, 12:00PM, 2:00PM, 8:00 PM
Friday DNS updates: 12:01 AM, 2, 9:00 AMPM
Sunday DNS updates: 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM
Even after the DNS servers have been updated, machines still cache DNS information. In order to apply any DNS changes immediately, please flush the DNS cache.
DHCP Update Schedule
DHCP changes entered are pushed via https://ipam.net.tufts.edu/admin are applied at 20 minutes and 50 minutes of each hour (1:20, 1:50, 2:20, 2:50, etc). New registrations via https://portal.net.tufts.edu or https://hostreg.net.tufts.edu are processed immediately.

changes made in AD bind are instant, but it is ESS standard policy to make bind changes on the DNS update schedule through proteus.
