{section} {column:width=63%} h2. Q: (Write details aboutWhy do emails still appear unread after I look at them in the question/issue here)Reading Pane? h2. A: By default, Outlook doesn't mark messages as read until a client has either switched to viewing another message in the reading pane or double-clicked to open the message. To change this setting, click on "Tools" > "Options" and then click on the "Other" tab. Click the "Reading Pane" button to bring up options. Check the option that reads "Mark (Write details about the answer/solution here) h2. Related Information (Optional: Add related articles, links, or information here) items as read when viewed in the Reading Pane." !image8.png! You can also change the number of seconds (i.e. lower it to 1 second instead of the default 5). You'll notice that "Mark item as read when selection changes" can not be selected at the same time. {column} {column:width=35%|border=1} {panel:title=Navigation|borderStyle=solid|borderColor=#514e85|titleBGColor=#336699|bgColor=#ffffff} {livesearch:spaceKey=exchange2010} [Exchange] {pagetree:root=Exchange|depth=3|sort=title} {panel} {info:title=For a new page:}{create-page:@self|template=Default|prompt=Page title?|target=edit}Create one here{create-page} {info} h3.
