Tufts Elist service is the home of the electronic mailing lists and subscription service at Tufts University.

Elist is primarily supported by the UIT Client Support Center, but some issues may be elevated to UIT ESS.
UITSC employees can act as elevated administrators (listmasters) for all elists, which gives access to add/remove owners, escalate owners to "privileged" owners, add/remove subscribers, and change the list configuration.
Elist owners can add/remove moderators and subscribers and change the list configuration. They can only add or remove other owners if they have been escalated to a "privileged" owner by UITSC.
Other support groups do not have the ability to administer elists that they do not own, so requests/questions typically need to be escalated to UITSC.
