Thunderbird to Outlook 2007
- Users in this migration group should be added to the Profile Generation Script and Outlook Customization and Addressbook Magic scripting group.
- For explicit details on how this logon script works, view the article here: Scripting Information
- Once Outlook is opened, a local cache of the serverside mailbox will be created for the *.OST
- AddressbookMagic migration will continue to work in the background.
- IF the scripting FAILED you can head to %appdata%\ and remove the script flag files in order to re-login and fix the scripting issues.
- If the profile generation continues to fail, you can manually create the profile in outlook and then just run the addressbook magic scripts by retaining only the outlookprf scripting profile.
- Some things to fix once the profile is setup:
- Signature
- Email Delegations
- Smartphone reconfiguration
- Need to map any GROUP accounts from Thunderbird to Outlook?
- Check LDAP lookup is functioning as expected
