* Windows XP: Service Pack 3 and newer.

Mobile Device support is based upon Operating System of the device, and is not restricted to the specific model of a phone.

*Supported Protocols and Operating Systems*
IMAP, ActiveSync, BES are all supported protocols based on a 2 to three revision support system.  As a general rule of thumb the two most recent major revisions are supported per operating system, with the exception of at the point of a new release, there is a short period in which the newest OS is given best effort support until it can be vetted and adopted as the new supported OS.

*Activesync*
While all of these devices communicate over the ActiveSync protocol, some operating systems have weaker implementations of the protocol so the level of connection for synchronizing calendar, contacts, tasks and email will differ per operating system.  Consult your local support desk for advise given your specific needs.  In addition to this, it is important to consult your wireless service carrier to ensure you have the appropriate data plan for internet usage.

*IMAP*
Most internet enabled smartphones support the IMAP protocol, it is important to recognize that an IMAP connection with your phone will only synchronize email with the Tufts Exchange servers.  In addition to this, it is important to consult your wireless service carrier to ensure you have the appropriate data plan for internet usage.

Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack (SP) 2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, or later operating system.
Hard disk: 1.5 GB of available hard disk space; a portion of this disk space will be freed after installation if the original download package is removed from the hard drive.

*Entourage 2008 and Entourage EWS*
Processor: Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (500 MHz or faster) processor.
Memory: 512 MB of RAM or more.
Operating system: Mac OS X v10.4.9 or a later version.
Hard disk: 1.5 GB of available hard disk space; Hierarchical File System (HFS)\+ hard disk format (also known as Mac OS Extended or HFS Plus).
