h3.*Logging In*
The first time you use a particular browser to log in to Bluecat, you'll be prompted by a warning about the Proteus server's certificate.

h4. *Firefox*
*1.)* Open Firefox and enter the Bluecat address ({newwindow:https://harold.net.tufts.edu/}https://harold.net.tufts.edu/{newwindow}). _A pop-up window will warn you that the connection is untrusted._

*2.)* Click *I Understand the Risks*.

*3.)* Select *Add Exception*. _The *Add Security Exception* window will open._

*4.)* After a few seconds, the bottom of the window will display an option to add _and_ permanently store this exception. Make sure that the _Permanently store this exception_ box is checked and click *Confirm Security Exception*.

*5.)* The Proteus login page will open.

Log in with your UTLN.

h4. *IE*
*1.)* Open IE and enter the Bluecat address ({newwindow:https://harold.net.tufts.edu/}https://harold.net.tufts.edu/{newwindow}). A pop-up window will warn you that there is a problem with the websites certificate. 

Click *Continue to this website _(not recommended)_*.
