Licensing
Tufts currently holds a university-wide site license. ArcGIS ArcInfo and ArcView can be installed on any Tufts-owned computer or a faculty personal computer.
There is also a student version of ArcGIS 10.1 available.

Packaging
Package for ArcGIS exist in Landesk. (under OIT public) We currently install only ArcGIS Desktop 10.1.
The landesk package uses an archive file and bat script to guide the installation. The bat file contains uninstall options for previous version being installed, and can be modified to include more options.
