TTS-EI has completed a proof-of-concept and is beginning the transition of all TTS staff to the new platform. The CUCM platform gives integration with the existing Cisco based Jabber client which may be utilized on desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Several models of desktop Desktop telephones are available but it is no longer required to maintain a physical telephone set in order to make and receive calls using your Tufts telephone number. This will eliminate the need to publish or give out your mobile phone number for business purposes. On the CUCM platform, each client may have up to 10 devices on their Tufts telephone number.
